I am 43 and for the past 20 years used The Keeper, a rubber menstrual cup and I loved it. But after birthing my 9 children my muscles are shot and it doesn’t stay in anymore. I went to washable pads once I was introduced to them.
Seems like a no brainer after using cloth diapers for all my children and with 7 of them being girls thinking of what it will cost them for their menstruating years is shocking! Trust me, LADYJUNK is so soft and easy to wash in comparison to washing poopy cloth diapers, seemed like a piece of cake and only a 5 day a month piece of cake.
I own a few other washable pads and would say that LADYJUNK was not as bulky during the days with a couple of liners (normal flow days that is) as the traditional PUL backed, serged edge, round shaped pads. The serging looks nice but is thicker and bulkier to sit on and wear. Those pads are secured to themselves, not your underwear and can shift slightly up and down. I used a LADYJUNK liner as a day pantyliner with tape on 4 sides and it was soft and more absorbent than a store liner. I generally use 2-3 per day for regular days (not period days). It was nice to only have to wear one soft LADYJUNK.
I have 4 different brands of washable pads and I would say that LADYJUNK and another brand with fleece as the absorbent layer are my favorite to use. LADYJUNK for softness and slightly less bulk.
You certainly can’t beat the price point of LADYJUNK either. It would cost 3 times as much to get a starter kit anywhere else. You will need to purchase a few more LADYJUNK if you love them (like me) so you’ll have enough for at least 2 days.
Let’s get back to earth and save $ too! I highly recommend LADYJUNK pads. Tanja T

When I first heard about LADYJUNK I was on the fence, not sure what to think. But I keep an open mind and thought, why not? I might like it.
So R sent me a lovely package and I actually was kinda excited for Mother Nature to make her big debut this month!
I'm happy that I took the plunge and tried them!
For me personally, I'm really forgetful, I don't make a list to shop with, I don't look around to see what I need, so a lot of times I forget to buy pads! I don't have to remember to buy pads now!
I know, big deal right? To me, that's one less thing I have to buy, to keep in stock, to think about.
And they are comfy! I don't feel like others can hear the plastic shift as I walk or move.
I'm all about comfort, comfy clothes, comfy bed, it's nice to have a comfortable pad for once!
And really, does (name brand) or (name brand) make super cool designs that you can customize to the season? Who doesn't want Halloween themed pads?
Having a period every month sucks, so it's nice to have a bit of fun during that dreaded time.
And R is so easy to talk to! We've had great conversations about monthly things and she has lots of great tips to pass on.
Love my LADYJUNK!
